Day 1: Arriving in Ulaanbaatar and transit to Terelj National Park |
Tour begins: At the airport in Ulaanbaatar you will be met by our vehicle. City orientation tour, visit Sukhbaatar Square (there is a Great Chinggis Khaan's Memorial complex). Set from Ulaanbaatar to Princess lodge 98km. Terelj beautiful scenery high rocks specific landscape. Drive to Princess Lodge and relax in national Ger try to dress Mongolian national dress and play with nomadic traditional game / archery/ in the beautiful Khan Khentii Mountain. Meet your own horses and evening have bonfire. Dinner and overnight at the ger lodge. (D) |

Day 2: Horse Riding Expedition trip in the Khentii Mountain Range |
After breakfast prepare for the flag off at 0830 hours and ride to Khavirgan Davaa Mountain (2600m).This trip covers 30-40km of trail in the Bridge Wilderness Area. The scenery is unbelievable with many breath-taking views. On the way you can see wild green forest and mountain steppe, multicolor flowers and wild animals such as wolf, Elk, Deer and many different kinds of birds and butterflies. Also in the evening you can hear forest animal sounds at the bonfire under a clear sky and stars. Overnights at the tent. (B,L,D) |
Day 3: Trekking cum Horse Riding Challenge |
Scale the peak of the Khentii Mountain range which stands at 2590 m above sea level. Participants will have to explore the undefined route to bring them to this highest peak. Descend mountain to camp at foothills. After dinner in Princess camp drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight in the ***hotel and prepare for next day’s Cycling Challenge. (B,L,D). |
Day 4: Cycling Challenge |
This is the first day of the Cycling Challenge. Participants are to get up and prepare for flag off at 0800hrs.

The second day will see participants cycling in the rolling hills of the Mongolian countryside to Jargalant

Day 6: Cycling Challeng |
The participants will forge towards the Mongolia-Siberia borders. The team will pass by Delgerkhaan Uul, before camping near Altanbulag.

Day 7: Cycling Challeng |
From the Mongolia-Siberia borders, the participants will make their way towards east Gusinoozersk, Selenga River, which is the starting point for the rafting challenge.

Day 8: Rafting Challeng |
Meet the Russian guides. Arrival in settlement of Kibalino, the starting point of the route on the Selenga River, the largest tributary to Lake Baikal (35 km from Gusinosersk). Instructions. Preparation of paddleboats. Lunch en route on an island. Meeting the Old Believers (a Russian religious group that split off from the Russian Orthodox Church in the seventeenth century) of Transbaikalian at a sacred mountain called The Sleeping Lion (the Omulovaya Mountain), from its top a wonderful sight of the river Selenga valley. Here you will learn of the orginal Old Believes’ culture and listen old Russian songs. Overnight in tents in the show of Tologoy (Shamans rocks). Cooking on camp fire. (B,L,D) |
Day 9: Rafting Challenge |
After breakfast continuation of our voyage to Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Buryatiya Republic (15 km). Lunch en route on an island. Arrival in Ulan-Ude. Accommodation at hotel. Free time. Dinner in the hotel. |
Day 10: Rafting Challenge |
City guided tour. Visit to the History Museum of Buryatia. Lunch. Free time. Continuations of the sail sing on the Selenga River. Overnight in tents. Cooking on camp fire. |
Day 11: Rafting Challeng |
This stage lead up to the settlement of Tataurovo (55 km). Lunch en route on an island. Overnight in tents. Cooking on camp fire. |
Day 12: Rafting Challeng |
This stage lead up to the settlement of Shigaevo (47 km) to the Selenga River Delta (on of the key ornithological sites of Eastern Siberia). Cooking on camp fire. Drive (20 km) to the settlement of Posolskoye, (meaning the Ambassadorial settlement) is one of the earliest settlement of Russians on Lake Baikal founded on the order of the Russian tsar Fyodor as a monastery in 1681 by the tsar’s mission to Mongolia led by Feodossiy. This was the only monastery for men behind the Ural Mountains. You will see here the old structure of the Orthodox Cathedral of Configuration of the Saviour. You’ll visit the old cemetery with tombs on the graves of the participants of the Tsar’s Mission killed here by the Buryats. Accommodation at the tent. Traditional Baikal dinner. |
Day 13: Boat trip Baikal Lake |
Boat trip (6-8 hours) to the settlement of Listvyanka, located on Lake Baikal in the mouth of the Angara River (the lake’s only outlet). Lunch on board. Accommodation at Hotel. |
Day 14: Irkuts |
Visit the Baikal Limnological Museum which has one-of-a-kind collection of exhibits about flora and fauna of Baikal and have an opportunity to see the recently constructed Aquarium with Baikal fresh water seals. Visit the souvenirs and fish market. Lunch in restaurant. Transfer to Irkutsk. By the way visit the museum of wooden architecture “Talzy”. City guided tour. Dinner. Transfer to the railway station. Departure by train 361 Irkutsk-Ulaanbaatar, 21.00 local time. |
Day 15-16: Depart Irkutsk, Siberia towards Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. |
Take the Trans-Siberian railway to reach back to Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. Next days arrival in Ulaanbaatar, 19.35 local time. Overnight in the ***hotel (D). |
Day 17 : Depart Mongoli |
Catch an afternoon flight out of Ulaanbaatar and return to Singapore either on same day or next morning. (B) |
